Intrinsically safe multi-component geophone probe SG3/xxx of the ARAMIS M/E system.

The PPV version (probe type SG3/xxx-P) includes a sensitivity limiter to prevent output signal saturation at medium motion velocities of 1 m/s.

The device consists of geophones arranged perpendicularly to each other, measuring seismic wave velocity in 2 or 3 axes.

Device types:

• SG3/2xx – two-component probe,
• SG3/3xx – three-component probe,
• SG3/xH – horizontally mounted probe,
• SG3/xVU – probe installed in the roof,
• SG3/xVD – probe installed in the floor.

The probe is an intrinsically safe device, Group I, Category M1.
