The Local Measurement Concentrator LKP-ARP of the ARP 2000 system records, archives, and transmits seismic event data to a central computer (or a portable one for maintenance purposes). The LKP-ARP hub includes: a recorder, an industrial controller, a GPS receiver with an integrated antenna, and a computer-grade uninterruptible power supply (in the metal enclosure version). The hub registers events and sends them to the controller for storage and transmission to the center.

Once installed, the LKP-ARP hub operates virtually maintenance-free.

Two versions of the hub are available:

• with a metal enclosure, built-in heater for low-temperature operation, and an integrated UPS,
• a simplified version with a plastic enclosure: without built-in heaters or an uninterruptible power supply.
