MPOF-2 Optical ash meter

Description

The MPOF-2 optical ash meter is designed for continuous measurement of ash content in flotation tailings of hard coal at coal processing plants. Measurements can be performed directly at the overflow of flotation machines or in collection troughs. Measurement results can be used directly for automatic control of the flotation process.

The MPOF-2 optical ash meter is a maintenance-free, fully automatic device that starts operating upon application of power.

The MPOF-2 provides:

  • Continuous measurement of non-combustible (ash) content in coal flotation tailings
  • Digital display of the current ash content as a 10-second average
  • Graphical visualization of measurement results over the last 8 hours
  • Graphical marking of threshold values on the chart
  • Light-alarm signaling when threshold values are exceeded
  • Interface with external devices (monitoring or control systems) via two independent standard current outputs
