GVd, GVu, GHa Geophones

Description

Intrinsically safe geophone sensors GVx and GHx of the ARAMIS M/E system designed for measuring the velocity of ground vibrations.

Operating position and mounting type:

  • GVu – vertical operation, mounted on the roof,
  • GVd – vertical operation, mounted on the floor,
  • GHa – horizontal operation.

The PPV version (sensors GVu-P, GVd-P and GHa-P) includes sensitivity limitation of the probe, preventing output signal saturation at ground movement velocities of 1 m/s.

The sensors are intrinsically safe devices of Group I, Category M1.
